Fri 6/02/2015
Aberdeenshire machinery dealers Brian Smith and Mark Wood will exhibit new models in the fast-changing McCormick product line-up at the RNAS Spring Show on Wednesday, 25th February at Thainstone.Examples of the McCormick X7 Pro Drive range will be prominent on the two stands, while the new McCormick X6.460 ‘mechanical’ tractor will make its show debut. This long wheelbase four-cylinder tractor has the same fuel-efficient engine as in the advanced-spec X7 Pro Drive models but paired with a simpler transmission, hydraulics and spool valves for operators who prefer a ‘frills free’ set up.
The first McCormick X50M tractor will also be on show. This simple-spec replacement for the McCormick C-Max utility tractor has a new, more economical engine capable of typically 8% fuel saving but better performance thanks to increased torque. A refreshed cab interior makes it a more attractive place to work.
Brian Smith Agricultural Engineers at Cornhill, Banff and Mark J Wood Agri-Sales, Premnay near Insch are the appointed McCormick dealers for sales, service and parts.
