VP6600 ISM
NEW 6600 SERIESÂ… EVOLUTION OF THE SPECIES!
With two two “Euro 3” four-cylinder engines featuring a new sort of electronic injection, like the new John Deere 66 HP turbo - intercooler engine and the new Yanmar 55 HP turbo engine with EGR plus eight different models that can be customized with a wide variety of dedicated accessories, the new 6600 series tractors fully meets the needs of modern agriculture’s typical specialistic applications, namely use in orchards, vineyards, for haymaking, in greenhouses, for awning cultivations, nurseries and horticulture.
Well aware of the challenges faced when working in such different fields of use, Valpadana has designed, engineered and built machines that represent an evolution of the conventional tractor since they are so versatile that they’re actually more like multifunctional implement carriers.
Combined with on-going commitment towards research and development, Valpadana’s experience in the specialistic sector is confirmed by use of devices like the RPS (Reverse Power Shuttle), the drive reversal system equipped with two electronically controlled oil-cooled internal multiple-plate clutch assemblies.
This pioneering solution has a considerable effect on operator comfort, running costs and on the actual life of the machine. Absence of the conventional dry-plate clutch and mechanical reversing devices mean that the continual adjustments that were once required owing to wear on the components are now a thing of the past.
The independent PTO, available in the 540/540E RPM versions and synchronized with the gearbox, is controlled according to the same principles as the RPS, i.e. through the electro-hydraulic action of an oilcooled multiple-plate clutch that provides the smoothest engagements in the sector.
The two engines (6660-6675), the chassis with its +/-15° swing between the axles and the comprehensive range comprising Equal Wheel tractors in the One-way and Reversible, Variant (with unequal wheels) and Articulated versions, the 16+16 transmission with 40 kph top speed, the ultra-tight turning radius and other unique features make the 6600 series tractors reliable and efficient machines able to tackle any sort of job.
ISM: The advantage of ISM is that the rear mudguard is at the same height as the front one. This means that the machine can be positioned as near as possible to plants with low foliage while maintaining excellent visibility of rear-mounted implements. The equal wheel version with steering wheels provides the best compromise between visibility and lugging power and is thus dedicated to all surface work in orchards and vineyards. A low center of gravity allows these machines to be used on steep slopes, like the ones in terrace cultivations, for haymaking in mountainous areas and in other critical situations.
